Job Summary:

The Failure Analysis Engineer I will support troubleshooting and analysis of electronic circuits used in regulated products. This entry-level engineering role focuses on identifying failure modes, documenting quality issues, and supporting corrective actions through hands-on testing and analysis. The position offers structured training and exposure to cross-functional engineering and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital electronic circuits

• Interpret electrical schematics and understand component-level circuit functionality

• Identify common failure modes of electronic components and assemblies

• Design, build, and assemble prototype circuits and test fixtures as needed

• Document quality issues, test results, and performance metrics for management review

• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with external vendors when required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering

• Understanding of electronic circuit design and analysis principles

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to learn quickly in a technical environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Zero to three years of experience in failure analysis or electronics troubleshooting

• Experience documenting quality or engineering data in a regulated environment

• Exposure to prototype development or test fixture assembly

Pay Range: $25/hr to $30/hr
