We are currently looking for a Document Processing Specialist. This is a fully remote contract to hire position. Please note the hours for this role are from 9am-6pm PST/12pm-9pm EST.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and revises documents from supplied information
- Tracks, logs, processes and stores incoming ticket requests from end-users
- Prints hard copies and/or to adobe and assembles documentation in accordance with standards as needed
- Creates, manages and records digital documents and status by using provided software and tools
- Meets internal deadlines to match the internal client expectations for timely delivery of service and ensures data is collected and processed in a timely manner
- Edits all documents to ensure accuracy, quality and consistency of deliverable(s) by following written and verbal instructions to ensure uniformity with BDO standard format and/or Client format by proofreading for grammar, punctuation and format errors, as needed
- Interacts with internal clients to gain information, documents, and data necessary to complete assigned tasks
- Assists with training team members on all relevant software, resources, and processes
- Assists in development and maintenance of team shared workspaces, housing all training and written process documentation, key contacts, links and common responses
- Proficient in navigating My Support Center dashboard and functionality
- Identifies and supports continuous performance improvement initiatives (service, quality & efficiency)
- Complies with all Firm policies, standards, and client procedures
- Makes in-person visits to local home office to foster relationships with administrative peers and professional stakeholders as needed
- Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED, required
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro, required
- One (1) or more years of experience as a Word Processor or Typist, required
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Capable of typing at least 50 WPM
- Solid verbal and written communication skills including proficiency in editing and utilization of current grammar and written style practices
- Able to successfully multi-task while working independently, within a group environment and/or other professionals
- Effective planning and strong organizational skills
- Able to work with a high degree of accuracy and thrive in a high volume fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality when interacting with all levels of the organization
- Capable of adapting communication style to successfully convey messaging and objective to diverse audiences in a professional manner
- Able to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
