About The Role We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Work from Home TurboTax Product Experts. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for TurboTax customers, assisting them with their questions related to our tax software products. Your primary responsibilities will include guiding users through downloading, logging in, basic navigation, importing documents, printing, filing, and addressing fundamental tax-related inquiries. This position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing you to set your own hours between 8 am EST and 12 am midnight EST, Monday through Sunday. You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure you are well-equipped to provide exceptional service. Qualifications To succeed as a TurboTax Product Expert, candidates should possess a strong desire to learn and assist customers effectively. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine interest in helping others. Basic computer literacy, familiarity with online platforms, and the ability to troubleshoot common software issues are important. Prior experience in customer service or technical support is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities As a TurboTax Product Expert, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Providing prompt and courteous assistance to customers via phone, chat, or email regarding TurboTax products and tax software-related questions.
  • Guiding users through the download and installation process, login procedures, and navigating the software interface.
  • Assisting customers with importing documents, printing, and filing their tax returns accurately.
  • Addressing basic tax questions, ensuring customers understand their options and the software's functionalities.
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge through ongoing training and certification processes.
  • Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Marketplace Performance Specialists (MPS) to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Adapting to evolving software features and updates to provide current and relevant support.
  • Meeting weekly minimum hours and working towards performance goals to ensure customer satisfaction.
