About The Role As a Work from Home TurboTax Product Expert, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their tax-related inquiries. Your primary responsibility will be to provide clear, accurate, and empathetic support regarding TurboTax products and tax return software. This includes helping customers with downloading, logging in, basic navigation, importing documents, printing, filing, and addressing fundamental tax questions. The role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to set your own hours between 8am EST and 12am midnight EST, Monday through Sunday. You will be supported by subject matter experts and performance specialists to ensure you deliver top-notch service. Qualifications To succeed as a TurboTax Product Expert, you should possess strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help customers. No specific accounting background is required, making this role accessible to enthusiastic individuals eager to learn. Basic technical skills and familiarity with digital communication tools are essential. The ability to understand customer needs, drive innovation, and provide excellent service will be key to your success. Candidates should be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the flexibility to increase hours based on their availability and performance.
Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional support to TurboTax customers by answering their questions related to product features and tax software usage. Specific tasks include assisting with downloading and installation processes, logging in, navigating the software, importing documents, printing, and filing tax returns. You will help address basic tax questions and troubleshoot common issues, ensuring customers feel confident and supported throughout their tax filing experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction levels, adhering to performance metrics, and actively participating in certification and training programs. Building a positive rapport with customers and providing empathetic, solution-oriented assistance will be central to your role. You will also collaborate with subject matter experts and support specialists to continually improve service quality and efficiency.
