About The Role We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Work from Home TurboTax Product Experts to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by assisting TurboTax users with their questions related to tax software and related products. Your primary responsibilities will include guiding customers through downloading, logging in, basic navigation, document importation, printing, filing, and addressing fundamental tax-related inquiries. This position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing you to set your own hours between 8 am EST and 12 am midnight EST, Monday through Sunday. As a TurboTax Product Expert, you will receive comprehensive training, including a fast 24-hour certification process, to ensure you are well-equipped to support our customers effectively. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a flexible work-from-home opportunity with competitive pay and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications To succeed as a TurboTax Product Expert, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • No specific accounting background is required; enthusiasm for learning and helping customers is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate solutions clearly and empathetically.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide innovative, customer-centric solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a disciplined approach to working independently from home.
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, with flexibility to extend hours as desired.
  • Ability to complete the certification process within three days.

Responsibilities As a TurboTax Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing professional and friendly assistance to TurboTax customers via phone, guiding them through product features and addressing their questions.
  • Helping users with downloading, logging in, and basic navigation of TurboTax software.
  • Supporting customers in importing documents, printing, filing, and answering general tax-related inquiries.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering clear, accurate, and empathetic support.
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Marketplace Performance Specialists (MPS) to resolve complex issues and enhance service quality.
  • Participating in ongoing training and certification to stay updated on product features and support techniques.
  • Adhering to company policies and compliance standards to ensure a secure and professional service environment.
