About The Role We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Work from Home TurboTax Product Experts. In this role, you will serve as a frontline support representative, assisting TurboTax customers with their inquiries related to our tax software products. Your primary responsibilities will include answering questions about downloading, logging in, navigating the software, importing documents, printing, filing, and addressing basic tax-related concerns. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to work remotely from the comfort of your home while setting hours that suit your lifestyle between 8 am EST and 12 am midnight EST, Monday through Sunday. Qualifications To excel in this role, candidates should possess strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn. Prior experience in accounting or tax preparation is not required, as comprehensive training and certification will be provided. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, customer-focused, and able to articulate solutions clearly and empathetically. Basic computer literacy, familiarity with online platforms, and the ability to adapt quickly to new tools are essential. Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the flexibility to increase hours based on their availability and business needs. A proactive attitude and a desire to support customers in resolving their queries effectively are key attributes for success in this position.
Responsibilities As a TurboTax Product Expert, your core responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service by assisting users with their tax software questions. You will help customers with downloading and installing the software, logging into their accounts, navigating various features, importing documents, and understanding basic tax concepts. Additionally, you will support customers in printing and filing their returns, ensuring they have a smooth and stress-free experience. During live calls, you will be supported by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will guide you through complex issues and provide ongoing assistance. You will also work closely with a Marketplace Performance Specialist (MPS) who advocates for your success and helps optimize your performance. Building rapport with customers, demonstrating patience, and delivering clear, concise guidance are vital to achieving high customer satisfaction levels.
Benefits This role offers several compelling benefits, including competitive hourly pay of $24 per hour, with an additional $5 per hour Turbo Bonus Boost available during designated promotional periods from April 9th to 15th, provided you work a minimum of 8 hours each day. You will also receive a $405 certification bonus upon successful completion of the certification process, which takes place over three days.
