About The Role We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in a call center environment. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to telephone inquiries from policyholders, beneficiaries, providers, agents, and other stakeholders concerning insurance policies. Your primary duties will include providing accurate information, assisting with claims and benefits verification, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

The ideal candidate will have prior call center experience, a strong understanding of insurance products, particularly in the senior market, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Flexibility to work various shifts is essential to meet the needs of our clients and ensure continuous service coverage. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum of six months related call center experience and/or training
  • Experience with Long Term Care Insurance is preferable
  • Two years of related customer service experience is advantageous
  • Proficiency in typing at least 30 WPM with 95% accuracy
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug tests, including THC
  • Verification of educational qualifications upon request
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace
  • Access to a smartphone for multi-factor authentication and communication

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound telephone inquiries from policyholders, providers, agents, and other stakeholders
  • Provide accurate information regarding benefits, claims status, and policy details by accessing company systems
  • Research and retrieve information from company records to resolve customer inquiries
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all company products and services to ensure accurate assistance
  • Ensure compliance with privacy policies, confidentiality standards, and data security regulations
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally to update customers on inquiry status and resolutions
  • Complete call documentation, checklists, and clerical tasks as required
  • Work various shifts as needed to support operational coverage
  • Perform routine transactions and follow-up activities to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with product updates and industry standards
