What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Accession patient samples according to standard operating procedures with high accuracy
• Enter patient data into the Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS) and ensure data is up-to-date
• Scan test requisition forms and manage associated paperwork
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and protect patient health information at all times
• Perform safe handling of biological samples and maintain cleanliness of workstations

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0 - 1 year of industry-related experience
• Previous computer experience is required
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute with high accuracy
• Good oral and written communication skills

• Previous data entry experience in a related field
• Experience working in a laboratory environment
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to exercise good judgment
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team setting
• Familiarity with laboratory inventory management systems
