What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and coordinating benefits
• Conduct benefit verification for all patient insurance plans and document coverage details
• Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification
• Initiate and secure prior authorization and medical review, including obtaining clinical documents
• Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding referral status and coverage updates

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity expectations
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Familiarity with CPR+ software
• Experience with prior authorization and benefits verification in home infusion settings
