What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and documenting coverage for medications and infusion services
• Calculate estimated patient financial responsibilities based on benefit verification and payer contracts
• Initiate and follow up on prior authorization and medical review processes
• Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding the status of referrals and coverage updates
• Assist patients with financial needs in accessing manufacturer copay assistance programs

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
• Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of CPR+ preferred
• Experience with acute infusion for prior authorization and benefits verification
