Chief Information Technology Officer

Role Description

We are seeking a part-time volunteer donation based remote Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) to help lead and manage all aspects of NYAE/NYAM's information technology systems and fundraising services. The CITO will oversee IT strategies, ensure robust cybersecurity measures, maintain seamless IT operations, and drive innovation through technology. Day-to-day tasks include leading the IT team, managing departmental budgets, implementing cutting-edge technologies, optimizing systems to enhance operational efficiency, and aligning IT initiatives with the organization's overall vision and objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Information Technology and IT Operations, including infrastructure, hardware, and software management
• Strong background in IT Management and IT Strategy, with experience in leading teams and developing long-term technical objectives
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity practices to ensure data protection and secure IT systems
• Proven ability to align IT initiatives with business goals and optimize IT capabilities for organizational success
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the museum, cultural, or entertainment sector is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; advanced degree is a plus
