Business Head - HPC

We are seeking a visionary Head of Home & Personal Care to lead our Home & Personal Care business at a strategic level. This senior leadership role requires expertise in Buying, Merchandising, Category Management, endorsed private label brands, and cross-functional business leadership. Experience in manufacturing, beauty, or fashion industries and working within cross-boarded/matrixed organizations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Leadership

• Define and drive the overall category strategy aligned with organizational goals and market dynamics.

• Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams across Buying, Merchandising, and Category Management to achieve strategic objectives.

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Home & Personal Care vertical.

• Navigate complex stakeholder environments and effectively influence at senior leadership and cross-board levels.

2. Growth & Business Development

• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, market trends, and consumer insights to drive category growth.

• Develop and implement effective pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

• Lead negotiation strategies with suppliers and partners to optimize cost structures and quality standards.

3. Brand Portfolio Management

• Oversee the development and management of endorsed private label brands, ensuring strong market positioning and differentiation.

• Drive brand innovation and product lifecycle management to maintain competitive advantage and meet evolving consumer needs.

• Ensure seamless collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain teams for effective brand execution and delivery.

4. Market Entry & Expansion

• Strategize and lead market entry or expansion initiatives domestically and/or internationally.

• Analyze competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and consumer behavior to inform expansion strategies.

• Collaborate with business units and external partners to implement successful market penetration plans.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 12-15+ years of senior leadership experience in Buying, Merchandising, Category Management within Home & Personal Care or related sectors such as manufacturing, beauty, or fashion.

• Proven track record in managing endorsed private label brands and leading cross-functional business initiatives.

• Experience working in matrixed and cross-boarded organizations with strong stakeholder management skills.

• Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, analytical, and leadership capabilities.
