Sandpiper Strategies is seeking self-motivated, community-oriented individuals to join our Ballot Chase initiative. This role is ideal for candidates who want to expand their personal and professional networks while playing a direct role in voter education and turnout efforts.

Ballot Chase Canvassers work closely with a Ballot Chase Manager to engage voters, build trust within assigned communities, and encourage voters to complete and return their ballots. This position requires strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team-driven operation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining regular communication with the Ballot Chase Manager
• Educating voters on the election process, voting timelines, and ballot return methods
• Building and maintaining positive relationships within assigned communities
• Tracking voter interactions and outcomes accurately and consistently
• Supporting daily and weekly turnout goals through direct voter contact
• Representing Sandpiper Strategies professionally in all community interactions

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable engaging with voters door-to-door or in community settings
• Ability to follow scripts, guidelines, and data-tracking requirements
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Must have independent reliable transportation, driving required
• Must have reliable smartphone, data access required
• Prior canvassing, community organizing, or political experience is a plus, but not required
