The Fan Experience Arena Host role plays a vital part of our event day team. This role requires a sociable, people-oriented person who is a proactive and effective communicator through genuine interactions with understanding of basic technology functions. This position serves in a variety of roles such as ticket greeting, ticket seller, mobility assistance, bag check, fan assistance, elevator/escalator operator, ushering, access control, and directional support.
On Tuesday, March 10, 2026 we will be hosting a in-person interview event. During this event, you will connect with our hiring managers and participate in one-on-one interviews. Event is by invitation only. Please apply to be considered. We will send email invitations before March 8, 2026. The target start date is Tuesday, March 24, 2026. This is a part-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is not eligible for benefits. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts, NBA games, and special events. Arena Hosts must be available to work at least 75% of all shifts per month.
What You Will Do
- Consistently contribute to the world class fan experience at Intuit Dome that welcomes every fan and demonstrates our service culture commitments.
- Proactively pursue opportunities to create positive first impressions and long-lasting, positive memories.
- Comply with all standards, expectations and policies of the Fan Experience department in order to ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable workplace experience for all team members.
- Proficiently use technology and assigned company equipment to perform job duties.
- Use a persuasive, teaching style of communication is required to communicate the company's policies, programs, and systems while also being aware and responsive to the customers needs and concerns.
- Open, flowing communication with and through others is important as this position requires helping a wide variety of people.
- Assist fans with wayfinding and other informational needs - exhibit an extensive knowledge the venue layouts, seating sections, access control, key venue attractions, key venue personnel identities, emergency activity procedures.
- Maintain event ticket and access integrity by technology, ticket verification systems, and facility knowledge.
- Observe and implement accessibility requirements and proactively stay up to date on such accessibility requirements.
- Respectfully perform job duties safely and efficiently without accepting monetary value.
- Play a pivotal role in the use and understanding of technology for ticket redemption and access control at Intuit Dome.
- Additional duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Poised, well-spoken and professional in appearance, words and actions; comfortable in dealing and/or encountering with VIPs and celebrities professionally.
- Welcoming, positive, and energetic attitude.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, and maneuvering up/down stairs in an indoor/outdoor environment.
- Proficient or above knowledge in the use of technology and current technology trends.
- Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights, select weekends, and holidays.
Compensation
- The hourly rate is $20/hour, then $22/hour after the probationary period.
- The role is classified as non-exempt.
