1099 Drone Pilot

Role Description

This is a Telecom pilot 1099 Contract, located in the U.S. The Drone Pilot will be responsible for operating UAVs for data collection, conducting civil inspections, ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations, and collaborating with team members to support utility engineering projects. The role also involves maintaining and troubleshooting drone equipment to ensure optimal performance while prioritizing safety and efficiency during operations.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Certificate required
• 1 year Telecom experience including, site access, 3D modeling and civil capture
• Telecom access Knowledge
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations and airspace management
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize and upload data nightly when deployed
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively on-site
• OSHA 10 Certification
