Job Description
• Develop and execute sales strategies that support glocalization—balancing global product standards with local customer specifications.
• Identify target customers in key industries (e.g., automotive, electronics, appliances) and understand their localized part and assembly needs.
• Work closely with R&D Engineering and production to adapt product designs, materials, and assembly options based on market requirements.
• Collaborate with the operations and quality teams to ensure delivery of localized solutions that meet both global and customer-specific standards.
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to provide insights for continuous improvement and new product opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor sales coordinators or junior sales staff involved in the glocalization portfolio.
• Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and business updates to senior management.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in manufacturing or plastic injection molding industries.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Background in handling customized or technical products and working with clients in OEM or industrial markets.
• Strong project coordination skills across departments (engineering, production, QA, logistics).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, and basic costing or pricing principles.
• Willing to travel for client visits and site meetings.
