We are seeking a professional Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods, and services, as well as managing vendor relationships.
He/She will develops, leads, and executes procurement strategies in alignment with the organization’s Procurement Policy.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with departments to determine their purchasing needs and provide guidance on procurement processes.
Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions
Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
Assess vendors performance and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality of goods and services.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely purchase orders, requisitions, and contract documentation.
Manage inventory levels, optimize stock levels, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
Monitor and report on procurement spending to ensure alignment with budgets.
Identify risks related to supply chain management and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure that all procurement activities are compliant with regulatory requirements.
Stay up-to-date on market trends and conditions that may affect procurement activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and design, to align procurement activities with overall business goals.
Foster strong internal relationships to understand business needs and ensure seamless procurement processes.
Analyze procurement data to inform decision-making.
Utilize data-driven insights to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure all material needed for the project are supplied and delivered on time and within the allocated budget.
Maintain accurate procurement and stock records.
Send monthly report to Management.
Carry out any other duty as assigned.
Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a procurement manager or in a similar role in architectural or construction industry is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
Familiarity with supply chain management software or procurement tools.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
