A Pharmacy Assistant focuses on administrative and operational tasks that support the pharmacy's daily functions without direct involvement in patient care or medication dispensing. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and organization of pharmacy services.

Administrative Duties: Manage clerical tasks such as creating and maintaining patient records, handling correspondence, and organizing documentation.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of medications and supplies, place orders as needed, and ensure proper storage conditions are maintained.

Customer Service: Assist customers by answering general inquiries, directing them to the pharmacist for specific medication-related questions, and managing transactions at the cash register.

Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input prescription information into the pharmacy's computer system and maintain up-to-date records for auditing and compliance purposes.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all activities adhere to the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) regulations and assist in preparing reports as required

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or a related field is advantageous.

Experience: Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably within a healthcare or pharmacy setting.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
