Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Develop and deliver technical proposals tailored to client specifications.
Provide expert consultation and recommend engineering solutions that align with customer requirements.
Work closely with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure accurate and timely product delivery.
Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and referrals.
Offer technical support and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and product demonstrations.
Maintain detailed documentation of sales activities, client meetings, and market insights.
Generate and submit weekly reports on sales performance, client visits, and market developments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical sales, preferably in the industrial equipment, pumps, valves, or mechanical systems industry.
Hands-on understanding of fluid control systems, industrial piping, valves, pumps, and related mechanical components.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with technical and procurement stakeholders.
Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
