Chartered Accountant - Pretoria

Duties & Responsibilities

Job description (Not limited to):

· Bank posting (EURO, USD, GBP). Daily Cash Report for CEO & CFO. Funding bank accounts for the group financial obligations.

· Bank reconciliation.

· Debtors/creditors reconciliation.

· Completing/reviewing payment runs and ensuring payments are made on time.

· Completing/reviewing expense claims and ensuring payments are made on time.

· Balance sheet reconciliation of any discrepancies.

· Revaluation of Debtors, creditors and the bank monthly with the current exchange rate.

· Creating a list of exchange rates for everyone in the company on the 1st working day of every month.

· Monthly Management accounts.

· Liaise with the Payroll and Credit Control team after a payroll run to ensure numbers are correct and on par with the Budget/Forecast.

· Combined margin reports/reconciliations.

· Commission calculations and Bonus target calculations.

· IDS reconciliations (Reconciling the receivable bank accounts on HSBC with our Aged Debtors on Sage).

· Processing, submitting and loading the VAT return/payment on HMRC and on the bank.

· Approving payroll/payment runs on the bank (On behalf of Austin).

· Cost reporting for Directors.

· Preparation of monthly/quarterly board packs for Directors.

· Budgeting and Forecasting.

· Analysing, collating and processing yearly audit support documents for the client group.

· Preparing PSA/P11D Recs and submitting them on HMRC for the client group.

· Overseeing a finance intern and creating training opportunities for them.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualified CA with 2 years post articles experience

Package & Remuneration

R40 000+ Depending on experience
