We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our growing remote team. As a Sales Intern, you’ll support our business development efforts by identifying leads, initiating conversations with potential customers, and assisting the sales team in converting those leads into long-term clients. You will gain hands-on experience in sales strategy, outreach, and CRM management while working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about tech, digital products, and growth marketing, and who want to gain valuable experience in a real business setting.
Please note: This is an unpaid internship, but top-performing interns will be considered for a paid offer or permanent role after the program.

Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential clients across targeted countries and sectors
Engage with leads via email, social media (DMs), WhatsApp, or cold calls
Support execution of regional sales campaigns and outreach strategies
Assist in qualifying leads and preparing outreach templates or sales content
Coordinate with the design and content team to align messaging across platforms
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and interactions using Google Sheets or CRM tools
Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and report weekly progress
Help generate insights from outreach and recommend ways to improve lead generation
Who We’re Looking For:

Are confident speaking and writing in English
Enjoy communicating with people and can explain things clearly
Have an interest in tech, startups, or the African digital economy
Are self-motivated, reliable, and proactive — you can work independently and deliver on time
Are eager to learn about digital sales, outreach, and business strategy
Have access to a reliable internet connection and basic working laptop/smartphone
Preferred (But Not Required):
Experience in sales, customer service, or community outreach
Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Notion, Trello, or CRM systems
Experience using social media for business (IG, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc.)
Strong organizational or time management skills
Students or recent graduates in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related fields
