We're seeking a passionate iOS Developer Intern to join our product team and contribute to building the next generation of mobility solutions.

Job Summary

As an iOS Developer Intern, you will work closely with our engineering and product teams to support the design, development, and optimization of our iOS applications. You will be exposed to the complete mobile development lifecycle and contribute to the creation of user-friendly, scalable, and high-performance features.

This internship is ideal for a motivated individual looking to grow their career in iOS development through hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development of new features for SimpliRide’s iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.

Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional and visually appealing app interfaces.

Integrate backend services and real-time data using Firebase.

Help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.

Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in iOS development.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience with iOS development using Swift (personal projects, schoolwork, or bootcamps).

Familiarity with Xcode, UIKit, and SwiftUI.

Basic understanding of Firebase for authentication, database, and push notifications.

Understanding of RESTful APIs and how mobile apps interact with servers.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to learn and receive mentorship in a collaborative team environment.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Firebase services like Firestore, Firebase Authentication, or Firebase Cloud Messaging.

Familiarity with version control tools, especially Git.

Interest in transportation, ride-hailing, or mobility tech.

Previous internship or group project experience.
