Corporate Lawyer (Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance)

Requirements

Required:

Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in general corporate law, contracts, tax, labor laws and regulatory compliance in the Philippines, with demonstrated knowledge in labor code, tax code and corporate laws,

Strong working knowledge of key government organizations such as SEC, NLRC, LGU, BIR, PEZA will be essential,

Skilled in drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts and other legal documents,

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills, with fluency in English,

Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

High degree of professional ethics and integrity,

Self-driven, takes initiative, resourceful, and can work under pressure with minimal instruction,

Demonstrates good attention to detail across all areas of work,

Has the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.

Preferred (not mandatory):

Experience in BPO industry,

Experience with the role of company secretary or secretary to a board or other governance bodies,

OSH certifications,

Internal audit exposure,

Experience in multi geography locations, in particular in any of Australia, other Asia countries and South America.
