We are currently seeking energetic and passionate NYSC members, IT students, and OND graduates in Civil Engineering and Architecture looking for a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) or internship opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Civil Engineering

• Assist in on-site and laboratory testing (concrete cubes, soils, piles, etc.)

• Support structural and material evaluations including Non-Destructive Tests (NDT)

• Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting

• Aid senior engineers in project planning, quality control, and client communication

• Support test execution using equipment such as PUNDIT, crack depth meters, and load testing apparatus

Architecture

• Assist with structural condition assessments from an architectural standpoint

• Support in preparing technical drawings, site sketches, and 2D/3D layouts (AutoCAD/Revit)

• Participate in building evaluation walkthroughs, focusing on design integrity and usability

• Work with engineers to ensure architectural elements meet safety and structural standards

• Help in preparing reports and client presentations on test findings

Requirements

• Current NYSC member, SIWES/IT student, or OND holder in Civil Engineering or Architecture

• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, construction processes, or building design

• Willingness to learn and adapt to site and lab environments

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or structural software (an advantage)

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
