Roles & Responsibilities
· Greet customers and discuss their vehicle concerns and service needs.
· Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
· Responsible for preparing job cards, entering auto parts in the job card through system based requisition process.
· Schedule appointments and coordinate with the service department to assign work.
· Analyze vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs and estimate costs.
· Review repair orders and inspect vehicles to create accurate estimates.
· Calculate materials, labor, and time needed for each repair project.
· Communicate with customers and insurance companies regarding estimations and approvals.
· Keep detailed and organized records of estimates, repairs and car pictures after work completion. (insurance requirement)
· Stay up to date on industry trends, pricing, and technologies to provide accurate estimates.
· Follow up and coordinate with insurance companies for LPO
· After submission of an estimate to insurance companies if any additional work is required which was not included in the initial estimate, the estimator should ensure to send additional work estimate, take appropriate approvals and finish the job timely.
· Coordinate with technicians and purchase department to ensure availability and pricing of parts.
· Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers to maintain cost-effective estimates.
· Upon receiving the vehicle from the customer, it is the responsibility of the estimator to put a stain and steering protection films on the seats of vehicle and place paper mat on the carpet to prevent any sort of staining.
· Take four sides including front and rear picture, odometer picture, inside seats picture as record upon receiving the car. Also ensure that no customers’ belongings are inside. Upload pictures in the related job card also.
· Work closely with the technicians’ team to ensure estimates are within the budget and schedule.
· Update customers every 3 days about the status of their order completion.
· Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism from the estimation process till the car is handed over to the customer.
· Responsible for closing job cards and generating invoice in the system after work completion.
· Prepare and email daily MIS reports (insurance claim reports).
· Greet customers in a well-mannered way and maintain a professional appearance.
· Follow company policies and procedures.
· Responsible for maintaining inventory of total loss vehicles and updating record for the number of vehicles handed over to insurance companies. Also check and update records if emirates auction removes some car from our parking.
· Daily reconciliation of total loss vehicles in hand, handed over to insurance companies or removed by emirates auction.
