Primary Function:
Product Reliability Engineer (PRE) interns will be working with product reliability engineers to complete assigned projects and tasks which includes but not limited to qualification plan definition and readiness, reliability stress tests execution, as well as corrective and preventive action for reliability failures.
Competency Level:
Educational Background
Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
Knowledge, Skill And Abilities
Knowledge and proficiency in any of the following software or programming language Advanced Excel, PowerBI, SQL, C++, Visual Basic (VBA), Python.
Knowledge and proficiency in time operations management, time and motion study, or Standard Work.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute qualification plans, reliability evaluations, and risk assessments
Perform reliability statistical calculations, such as MTTF, MTBF, FIT, and failure rate modeling
Lead structured problem-solving teams using six sigma, 8D methodologies
Communicate and interpret qualification requirements within a cross-functional environment.
Identify and plan for application specific mission profiles
Support internal/external customers with general reliability related inquiries.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in the department.
