Data Center Facility Fire Protection System

Job Description:

Responsible for the technical aspects of the Data Center Fire Protection System, including understanding the contract scope, specifications, testing, and commissioning requirements.

Conduct technical reviews of design drawings and construction plans related to the Fire Protection System.

Enhance delivery capabilities by providing knowledge transfer, mentoring, and conducting workshops for engineers and subcontractors.

Ensure product specifications are accurate and clearly defined during the contract signing stage.

Support and supervise subcontractors in completing shop drawings, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and obtaining certifications from clients or local authorities.

Assist in fire protection equipment procurement to ensure alignment with design requirements.

Review shop drawings and material submittals for technical compliance.

Provide on-site support for transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning activities; assist in proposal preparation.

Review, provide feedback, and offer guidance on Uptime TCCF test scripts; ensure necessary modifications are made for successful Facility Certification.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection System Engineering or a related field.

Certification in ATD, CDCP, or CDCS preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire Protection System design and project delivery, ideally within data center or MEP facility construction environments.

Strong knowledge of data center facility systems, including but not limited to Fire Protection Systems and Building Management Systems.

In-depth understanding of Indonesian fire protection regulations, including work permits, acceptance procedures, and government requirements.

Possession of a Fire Protection Engineer certification is an advantage.

Experience in designing or guiding 10+ MW data center fire protection systems.

Proficient in CAD and other relevant design tools.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
