JOB SUMMARY
Create and execute manual test cases and report defects in JIRA while ensuring all testing proof and reports are maintained and documented properly.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
Close coordination with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, co-QAs and suggest improvements.
Participate in daily stand-ups and other scrum ceremonies.
Create automation scripts as needed using Katalon Studio
QUALIFICATIONS
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of curiosity about how systems function — and fail
Has knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and core QA principles.
Familiarity with test cases, bug tracking, or QA tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, or similar)
Communicates clearly, both in writing and verbally, especially when reporting bugs or sharing test outcomes
Team player who’s open to feedback and enjoys learning from others
Capable of being organized and managing multiple tasks or priorities effectively
Nice to have: Exposure to basic scripting (e.g. JavaScript etc) or test automation tools such as Katalon.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Regular workdays run from roughly 1700– 0200 (PH Time) to maximize the overlap with European and US Eastern Time work hours (time spent outside regular work hours for events and event preparations will be offset against regular workdays)
Willingness to work 4 hours per day; ability to handle pressure during peak periods during the year.
