Job Description
Minimum Qualification and Experience
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Must have three (3) years relevant experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a comparable position;
Bachelor's degree from a recognized and accredited institution;
Mut be registered with relevant professional body;
Proficiency in computer applications; and
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail: -
Providing administrative support services in the university;
Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments;
Implementing policies and strategies;
Providing secretariat services during meetings;
Implementing administrative functions;
Preparing and analyzing reports;
Performing administrative operational duties in specific area of assignment;
Preparing reports and records as may be required;
Coordination of administrative activities; and
Participating in quality audits.
