Job Summary

We are looking for a courteous and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent dining service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant and memorable customer experience. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Present menus and provide detailed information about meals, ingredients, and specials
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar
• Serve food and drinks promptly and in accordance with service standards
• Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints professionally
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, cutlery, and glassware
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
• Process bills and handle payments accurately (cash, POS, transfers)
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Well-groomed appearance and professional attitude
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
