Video Editor & Graphics Designer

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Film and produce high-quality videos using single and multi-camera setups

Edit footage into compelling short-form and long-form content for social media and campaigns

Add transitions, subtitles, pop-ups, and motion graphics to enhance viewer engagement

Select appropriate music, sound effects, animation, and B-roll for video content

Stay current with trends in video editing, social media content styles, and digital storytelling

Deliver all video content outlined in the content calendar on time

Work closely with the Digital Marketing Executive to ensure content aligns with brand goals

Design static graphics, including flyers, banners, proposal templates, pitch decks, presentations, and other visual assets

Create branded materials for use across different departments: marketing, business development, client proposals, etc.

Develop layouts and graphics for web pages, newsletters, and printed materials

Ensure visual consistency across all designs in alignment with brand identity

Review and revise design materials based on feedback from team members and leadership

Contribute creatively to design ideas that enhance internal and external communications

Requirements:

Proficiency in handling professional video camera equipment.

Demonstrated experience designing for both digital and print.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Graphics Design Multimedia Animation Fine Arts or related field.

2-3 years of proven experience in both video editing and graphic design.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro Photoshop After Effects Illustrator Canva CorelDraw or similar platforms is required.

Solid understanding of branding layout and design aesthetics.

Must be cheerful resourceful and able to work independently.

A portfolio showcasing diverse work across video graphics and motion design.

Are a visual storyteller who can take an idea from concept to execution

Have an eye for design and love creating clean, impactful visual content

Proactive, responsive, and enjoy working in a startup environment

Understand what performs well online and can design with results in mind

Take pride in delivering work that is excellent, not just sufficient
