Job Description

*Job Title: Team Lead Manager – Insurance Company < Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Ltd

*Job Summary*

The Team Lead Manager is responsible for building, leading, and managing a team of insurance agents/advisors to achieve sales targets, grow market share, and deliver excellent client service. You act as the bridge between the insurance company and the sales force, driving recruitment, training, performance, and compliance within your agency unit.

*Key Responsibilities*

*1. Sales Leadership & Target Achievement*

- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual premium targets for general insurance products.

- Monitor team sales performance using KPIs: policies sold, premium income, persistency/renewal rates, and case sizes.

- Drive product mix and cross-selling of multiple lines general insurance and other products

*2. Recruitment & Team Building*

- Identify, recruit, and onboard new insurance agents/advisors to build a high-performing sales team.

- Conduct interviews, assess candidates’ sales aptitude, and manage licensing requirements

- Maintain agreed manpower strength and reduce agent attrition.

*3. Training & Development*

- Coach agents on products, sales techniques, objection handling, and financial needs analysis.

- Organize regular product training, sales clinics, and joint field work with agents.

- Mentor new agents through their first 90 days to ensure early productivity and retention

*Key Requirements*

Category Details

**Education** BSc/HND in Insurance, Business Admin, Marketing, Finance or related field.

**Experience** 2–4 years in insurance sales, with at least 2 years leading a team or as Senior Agent/Unit Manager.

**Skills** Strong sales leadership, recruitment, coaching, negotiation, and presentation skills.

1. *Agency Premium Income* – Monthly/annual FYP and renewal premium

2. *Manpower Growth* – Number of active agents

3. *Agent Productivity* – Average cases & premium per agent
