Role Summary
We are seeking a Taproom Growth Manager to drive customer traffic, corporate bookings, and overall revenue growth at our Taproom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing corporate and private event bookings, building strategic partnerships, and positioning the Taproom as one of Lagos’ preferred venues for business gatherings, after-work socials, and private events.
This role combines sales, client relationship management, networking, and brand promotion. Success will be measured by corporate bookings secured, outreach activities, partnerships, and revenue generated.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate & Private Bookings (Core Focus)
• Drive corporate bookings for team bonding sessions, after-work gatherings, product launches, and end-of-year parties.
• Secure private event bookings such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and exclusive celebrations.
• Develop and promote custom event packages including corporate bundles, festive packages, and food & drink offers.
• Negotiate booking terms and coordinate with operations for seamless event execution.
2. Sales Outreach & Lead Generation
• Conduct structured outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, letters, and physical visits to businesses.
• Build and manage a pipeline of corporate clients and prospects.
• Track leads, follow-ups, and conversion rates.
• Consistently convert prospects into confirmed bookings.
3. Public Relations & Client Relationships
• Build strong relationships with HR managers, event planners, office administrators, and decision-makers.
• Represent the Taproom as a premium corporate hospitality venue in Lagos.
• Serve as the key contact for clients before, during, and after events.
4. Brand Partnerships & Sponsorships
• Identify opportunities for brand collaborations and corporate partnerships.
• Secure sponsorships for networking events, industry mixers, and premium tastings.
• Develop co-branded promotions that enhance visibility and revenue.
5. Marketing & Visibility
• Work with the marketing team to promote Taproom packages via social media, newsletters, and PR.
• Represent the brand at industry networking events and corporate gatherings.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales, hospitality, events, or business development.
• Proven ability to secure corporate clients and event bookings.
• Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
• Well-presented, confident, and comfortable engaging with corporate clients.
• Preferably female with a strong sense of style and professional presentation, able to represent the brand confidently at events and client meetings.
• Good knowledge of the Lagos corporate and social scene is an added advantage.
