Security Officers

General Duties

Access Control: Check people coming in and out. Verify ID, visitor logs, and gate passes

Patrol: Walk or monitor the premises, parking lot, and surrounding areas to prevent theft, damage, or trespassing

Surveillanc: Watch CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activity

Protect Property: Guard equipment, goods, and buildings against damage, theft, or fire

During Shift

Greet & Direct: Welcome guests, direct them to the right place

Search & Screening: Check bags, vehicles, and workers where required

Incident Response: Respond quickly to alarms, fights, accidents, or emergencies

Report Writing: Log incidents, visitors, and daily activities in the security book

Customer Service: Answer questions politely while staying alert

Emergency Duties

Safety: Know emergency exits, fire extinguisher use, and evacuation procedures

First Response: Call police, fire service, or ambulance when needed

Crowd Control: Manage people during events, deliveries, or emergencies

Key Skills Needed:

Alertness, honesty, good communication, physical fitness, discipline, and calm under pressure.
