Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an organized, creative, and motivated Programs & Events Coordinator to lead the planning, execution, and management of all programs, services, and events. The role involves coordinating multiple teams, overseeing logistics, and ensuring high-quality experiences for our community. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership and administrative skills with a passion for community engagement and team development.

The manager is responsible for the whole process from the planning stage, right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on, it involves leading a team and ultimately providing support that helps to achieve the organization’s event/program vision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate program and event teams, including creative, media, technical, and hospitality units.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee programs, services, and special events.
  • Orchestrates all services and major event production nees of the company by developing partners and teams to work with.
  • Ensure seamless integration of creative, music, media, and technical elements.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver programs that reflect the organization’s mission and values.
  • Approve all aspects before the day of the event
  • produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
  • Provide guidance and support to program teams, resolving conflicts and fostering collaboration.
  • Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in program, project, or event management; experience in community or non-profit settings preferred.
  • Proven experience as event manager, skilled in project management
  • High integrity and strong ethical standards.
  • Collaborative, approachable, and capable of mentoring others.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
