Valuemart is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to provide safe and effective pharmaceutical services by dispensing medications, counseling patients, maintaining pharmacy records, and ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense and accurately label prescribed medications.
• Review and interpret prescriptions from healthcare providers.
• Counsel patients on dosage, proper medication use, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Monitor patients' medication therapy and treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient medication and pharmacy records.
• Manage medication inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
• Prepare or compound medications when required.
• Supervise pharmacy assistants or technicians.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Provide general health and wellness advice to patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to promote safe and effective treatment.

Requirements

• Relevant professional qualification in Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and medication management.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain high ethical standards.
