Job Summary
The Nutritionist is responsible for promoting healthy eating habits and improving overall health through proper nutrition. The role involves assessing clients’ dietary needs, developing personalized meal plans, and providing education on nutrition and lifestyle changes to prevent and manage diseases.
Key Responsibilities
Assess clients’ nutritional needs, health conditions, and lifestyle
Develop personalized diet and meal plans based on individual goals
Provide nutrition counseling and education to individuals and groups
Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress and adjust plans accordingly
Promote healthy eating habits and disease prevention strategies
Support management of conditions such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and malnutrition
Conduct nutrition screenings and assessments in communities or healthcare settings
Develop and distribute educational materials on nutrition and wellness
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
Stay updated with current nutrition research and guidelines
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or related field
Relevant certification or license (where applicable)
1–3 years of experience (entry-level candidates may be considered)
Strong knowledge of nutrition principles and dietary planning
Excellent communication and counseling skills
Ability to assess and interpret health and dietary data
Good organizational and time management skills
