Job Description
The Lead, People Business Partnership acts as a strategic connector between enterprise people strategy and business execution. The role partners with senior business leaders to design and implement people initiatives that strengthen performance, engagement and organisational capability.
Working closely with Centres of Excellence (COEs) and the broader People leadership team, the Lead ensures that workforce plans, leadership effectiveness and change programmes are delivered consistently, with measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to operationalise people plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and talent priorities.
- Manage day-to-day employee lifecycle matters in partnership with People Operations and Employee Relations.
- Coach line managers on performance management, feedback and team engagement.
- Analyse people metrics, including attrition, engagement and performance, to identify trends and propose solutions.
- Support organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives.
- Collaborate with COEs including Talent Management, Total Rewards, Learning and Employee Relations to deliver enterprise programmes across business units.
- Act as a culture champion, driving inclusion and accountability through daily interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7 years of HR experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR advisory role.
- Proven capability managing multiple business units or teams.
- Sound understanding of HR processes and labour regulations.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret people-data trends.
- Experience in fintech, banking or digital environments is preferred.
- Exposure to organisation-wide HR transformation or scaling initiatives is an added advantage.
