Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Research and pitch original story ideas across various beats such as politics, business, culture, crime, health, sports, etc.

Conduct interviews, attend press events, and gather information from credible sources.

Write clear, concise, and engaging news articles, features, and investigative reports.

Verify facts, ensure accuracy, and uphold journalistic integrity and ethics.

Collaborate with editors, photographers, and digital teams to develop multimedia content.

Meet strict deadlines while handling breaking news and multiple assignments.

Maintain strong networks of contacts and stay up-to-date on current events and trends.

Use content management systems (CMS) and social media tools to publish and promote stories.

Requirements:

Must be ready to work six days in a week
