Job Summary
The Front Desk Officer serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, representing the organization with professionalism. The role involves managing reception duties, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
Manage appointments, bookings, and schedules
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and correspondence
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area
Provide accurate information about the company’s services and operations
Assist with basic administrative tasks (data entry, filing, record keeping)
Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
Ensure security procedures are followed (visitor logs, access control)
Handle customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate department
Requirements & Skills
Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in any related field
Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or similar role is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
Professional appearance and attitude
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
