Job Purpose: Manage daily operations of all the food and beverage outlets at the Concourse 1, Terminal 1 & 2 in Dubai International Airport including coordinating with other departments to ensure provision of service that is of highly competitive standards and within the stipulated cost thereby ensuring that customers are satisfied with their dining experience.

Key Results Area:

1. Oversee daily operations of the F & B outlets located in Concourse 1, Terminal 1 & 2 in Dubai International Airport thereby ensuring that customers are provided with excellent level of service at all times while making sure that the outlets are profitable to the company.

2. Promote sales and assign operational functions to respective staff to ensure best results and smooth running of the outlets.

3. Coordinate with the Production Department regarding menus, food quality and other kitchen related matters and ensure that the best quality of food is served to the customers.

4. Propose new menus for the outlets (in coordination with Production) within defined budgets, recommend selling price, rotate/change menus and introduce new products to promote sales.

5. Investigate and resolve customer complaints about food quality and/or service by taking remedial actions immediately.

6. Operates all functions from his/her office and frequently visits all the outlets to ensure that the quality of food and beverage served is of the best standards.

7. Prepare & submit the annual CAPEX and staff budget for DGMACS*s approval.

8. Coordinate with Purchasing for procuring equipment, materials for the outlets and with W&D for procuring food / other items already in stock.

9. Ensure staffing of required positions, monitor staff performance with emphasis on professional development to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently in compliance with established Hygiene & Safety Standards.

10. Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 international standards and executes all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.

Education Qualification:

Graduate or Diploma in Catering and/or Hotel Management or equivalent qualification. Should have extensive knowledge in Food and Beverage Management. (must have)
