Role Overview
Dispatchers act as the communication link between field teams and the office. They receive service requests, assign tasks to field personnel, monitor job progress, and provide updates to management and customers
Key Responsibilities
*Receive, prioritize, and assign service requests or work orders to field crews.
*Monitor field operations to ensure timely completion of tasks.
*Maintain accurate records of work assignments, schedules, and reports.
*Communicate with customers regarding service status, delays, or updates.
*Coordinate with management and other departments to optimize workflow.
Requirements
*Minimum of a High School Diploma; Diploma/Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
*Good communication and multitasking skills.
*Basic computer literacy and familiarity with scheduling or dispatch software.
*Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
*Knowledge of utility operations is an advantage but not always required
