JOB DESCRIPTION

The Finance department currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and attentive to detail Data Capturer to join their team. The Data Capturer`s purpose is to assist the Finance team with capturing large volumes of data. This person must have extensive experience in capturing large volumes of data preferably in a finance environment, and will be expected to manage a large workload.

HE/SHE WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO:

Accurately enter and maintain data into relevant databases and systems

Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness

Organize and maintain electronic and physical records

Assist with data audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Handle multiple data entry tasks efficiently and meet set deadlines

Provide support for other administrative and ad-hoc duties as required

Assist in creating and managing reports and documents as needed

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations

Perform routine checks to ensure the integrity of entered data

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

Grade 12

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and data management software

Minimum of 2-3 years` data capturing or administrative experience advantageous

QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
