Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing all account payables and account receivables transactions.
Maintaining accounting ledgers, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and providing other support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.
Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance.
Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries.
Maintaining a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Preparing vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
Managing regulatory Payments (Pension, PAYE, VAT, WHT etc.).
Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments.
Preparing Bank reconciliation statement.
Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Minimum).
ICAN / ACCA (Fully Chartered).
Knowledge and experience with Accounting software / ERP .
Minimum of 5 years’ experience
