Betternship is recruiting a skilled Backend Developer (Python) for a technology company building scalable solutions for gaming services, applications, and back-office systems. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing backend applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code.
• Improve and support existing backend services and systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and developers to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in system architecture, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Support DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Mentor junior developers and promote coding best practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Python backend development.
• Good understanding of scalable web architectures.
• Experience with Django, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Git version control.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is an advantage.
• Functional programming knowledge and experience with immutable data structures is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
