Accountants

​Royal Skepter Ltd is leading the recruitment process for a well-established company within the Logistics & Supply Chain sector. We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and analytical Accountant to oversee full-cycle financial management at their Jebba operations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in financial reporting, cost control, and managing complex financial workflows within logistics, fleet management, or supply chain structures.

​Key Responsibilities

​Financial Management: Oversee and manage the complete accounting cycle, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, verified, and entered into the system.

​Cost Accounting & Analysis: Track, analyze, and optimize operational costs related to logistics, distribution, warehousing, and fleet management.

​Reconciliations & Auditing: Perform rigorous bank, vendor, and multi-account reconciliations. Prepare internal ledgers for external audit readiness.

​Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and budget variance reports to management.

​Taxation & Compliance: Oversee tax planning, compliance, and timely filings (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.) in accordance with statutory requirements.

​Requirements & Qualifications

​Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, or ANAN) are highly preferred.

​Experience: Proven, mid-to-senior level experience working as an Accountant, ideally within the logistics, haulage, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.

​Technical Skills:

​Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAGE Evolution, or ERP systems like SAP).

​Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.

​In-depth understanding of Nigerian tax laws and financial compliance structures.

​Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, sharp analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
