Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, invoices, and expense statements.
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Maintain accurate records of petty cash and reconcile it regularly.
Help with bank reconciliations and monthly closings.
Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
Assist in maintaining proper filing systems for financial documents.
Administrative Duties:
Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, and managing correspondence.
Manage office supplies inventory and order new materials as needed.
Schedule meetings, take minutes, and assist with the coordination of company events.
Maintain records of staff attendance and leave.
Support HR and administrative functions, including document handling and basic onboarding processes.
Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and office practices.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
