Senior Digital Marketing Specialist
SUMO Services Corporation
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Growth Strategy: Develop and implement the “25 in ’25” digital membership funnel. Define target segments (e.g. young professionals, Brazilian/Filipino migrants) and craft messaging that highlights modern Freemasonry values (networking, service, mentorship).
Digital Infrastructure: Set up and manage CRM/marketing automation (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce) to capture leads from the website, landing pages, and events. Build an email nurture sequence (“Welcome Campaign”) and track all touchpoints (as recommended by HigherLogic). Maintain a content calendar for blog posts, social media, email newsletters, and ads.
Lead Generation: Launch and optimize campaigns on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, LinkedIn) targeted by location, age and interests. Create and manage email campaigns, webinars, and virtual info sessions.
Content & Communications: Oversee creation of promotional content (infographics, short videos, testimonials). Manage social media accounts with engaging, shareable posts. Optimize the website and membership brochures for clarity (ensuring a modern offering presentation, discussed below).
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key metrics (leads captured, conversion rate, website traffic, ad ROI). Use data to refine campaigns. Prepare fortnightly progress reports for the Board (lead counts, cost-per-lead, content engagement, etc.) as proof-of-concept.
Requirements
Digital Marketing Expertise: Proven skills in online advertising (Facebook/Meta, Google Ads Instagram), SEO, content marketing, social media management, and email automation. Experience with CRM platforms and lead-tracking is essential.
Analytical & Creative: Ability to analyze campaign data to optimize performance (e.g. A/B testing ads) and to craft compelling copy/design that resonates with diverse demographics.
Association/Member Recruitment: Familiarity with digital membership-growth tactics. Prior success working with membership organizations or nonprofits is a plus. Knowledge of multicultural outreach is advantageous.
Communication & Coordination: Since this role is offshore, clear communication and coordination with staff and Membership committees is vital. The specialist must translate the company's heritage into modern language for marketing materials, liaise remotely with board members, and integrate volunteer input into campaigns.
