The ENBD Group Business Strategic Sourcing Unit sits within the Group Procurement Division. Group Procurement is responsible for the sourcing of all goods and services needed for the Group’s operations. The goal of the Group’s sourcing activities is to acquire the right goods and services for the intended purpose, at the right time, quality and cost. This process aims to balance the Group’s overall needs for economy, efficiency, value for money, suitability, competition, transparency, accountability, and environmental and social sustainability, while ensuring risks are properly managed.
The Manager - Purchas is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end P2P Ops process, ensuring that all sourcing transactions are executed in line with policy, system workflows and service level expectations. The Manager will provide leadership, oversight and issue resolution support so that the P2P process is efficient and optimized. They will also collaborate with Sourcing, Finance, IT and Tanfeeth to ensure P2P processes are optimized and continuously improved.
On a day-day you will be responsible for:
Oversee End-To-End P2P Process
Ensure System And Workflow Integrity
Policies and Processes Compliance: Ensure that all P2P activities are conducted in line with ENBD’s sourcing, finance, and contract compliance policies. Regularly update policies and processes in line with regulatory changes. Flag and address non-compliant practices in coordination with audit and governance teams.
Monitor P2P Performance Metrics And Reporting
Resolve Internal And External Stakeholder
Support Audit And Control Requirements
Lead Training And Process Awareness
Contribute To Continuous Improvement
Ensure International Alignment and Collaboration
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field (e.g. sourcing, Supply Chain)
MCIPS certification preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or tactical buying, with at least 3 years in a leadership position managing a large team (preferably in sourcing)
Proficiency in sourcing (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc) tools
Strong understanding of Sourcing processes. Experience with invoicing and payment in Sourcing
Managerial skills: project management, negotiating skills, organized and detail-oriented, quick learner
