Job Description

Job Summary

The project delivery is a Pillar coordinating activity of four strategic departments - these include programes, business development and partnership, research and development, communication, monitoring, and evaluation departments.

This role requires strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and operational excellence to ensure projects meet their objectives, deadlines, and budgets while aligning with AYGF’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure efficient delivery of AYGF initiatives.

Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to enhance project success.

Ensure that all projects adhere to donor and organizational policies, as well as national and international standards.

Lead and mentor project teams to enhance capacity, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Represent AYGF in meetings, conferences, and other engagements related to project delivery.

Work with internal and external teams to secure funding and ensure compliance with donor requirements.

Work with the finance team to track expenditures, generate financial reports, and optimize resource allocation.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project progress to donors, stakeholders, and management.

Maintain comprehensive documentation and records for all project activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification should be minimum of M.Sc Degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields with at least 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on non-profit or development sectors.

The Candidate should possess strong leadership, team management, and problem solving skills.
